Wy-Yung 36ML Reservoir

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this Contract is for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new 36ML reinforced concrete reservoir within the footprint of the decommissioned Basin No.2.

The scope includes:

• Demolition works including removal of existing inlet, outlet, scour and overflow pipework associated with Basin No.2 and associated concrete structures and removal of a level monitoring bridge and other miscellaneous works;
• Bulk earthworks including removal of embankments, construction of a lime stabilised capping layer, placement of fill around the reservoir, roadworks, drainage and construction of a stormwater detention basin;
• New pipelines to divert water into the reservoir, overflow pipework, scour pipework and an outlet main, including cut-ins and connections to the existing pipes;
• Civil and structural works associated with the new reservoir; and
• Electrical and instrumentation works for the new reservoir including all conduits and pits.
